A man was arrested in connection with two burglaries in the Fallbrook area after he was caught snooping through a homeowner's garage Monday night, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said.
The homeowner found Isiah Hall, 27, stealing items from his garage near North River Road and state Route 76 at about 5 p.m. Monday, SDSO Sgt. Jeff Schmidt said.
When Hall was spotted, he took off from the residence. Deputies began searching for the suspect with K-9s and several witnesses pointed search crews to state Route 76, Schmidt said.
Hall was located walking westbound along the roadway and he was taken into custody in connection with the burglary.
Another resident then called to report a burglary at their Bonsall home, close to wear Hall was detained.
Investigators determined some of the stolen items were items found in Hall's posession at the time of his arrest, Schmidt said. Stolen items included horse riding gear, some jewelry, wallets, purses and gift cards, SDSO Sgt. Patrick Yates said.
Other items were found in Hall's posession that SDSO believes may have been stolen.
