Construction broke a gas line in Del Mar, according to officials.
The break was reported around 9:30 a.m. at 12995 El Camino Real. Three nearby buildings have been evacuated and a walk-over bridge has been closed.
Businesses affected are Fed Ex, AT&T, Searsucker, Sushiya, Crami Cafe and Snooze.
Officials said it could be anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour before the gas line was fixed.
