A vehicle crashed into a pole knocking down power lines and closing a portion of Highway 76 on Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol told our media partner the North County Times.
The wreck took place about 8:30 a.m. on the highway just east of Valley Center Road, CHP Officer Eric Newbury said.
The closure was expected to last most of the morning.
