Chopping Suspect Enters Plea

A North County man accused of killing his parents entered a plea in court Monday.

Dennis Gluck, 44, was formally charged at his arraignment Monday in a Vista courtroom. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
   
Gluck was arrested last week on a bus near Ensenada and handed over to Carlsbad detectives. Police had been looking for him for more than a month.

Harry Gluck, 90, and Jean Gluck, 77, were found dead in their Carlsbad home last month. The medical examiner's office said they died of "chop wounds" the the neck and head.

Gluck, who has a history of mental illness, was booked into the Vista jail. His bail has been set at $5 million, Williams said.
