A 5-year-old girl who fell out of a second-story window in San Ysidro Wednesday was taken to Rady Children's Hospital with unknown injuries.
San Diego police responded to reports of the fall on the 200 block of Sycamore Road at around 8:30 p.m.
The girl's family believes she leaned against the window, thinking it was closed, and fell through the screen and landed on concrete.
SDPD said the child was awake and breathing when they arrived.
