San Diego Police detectives are investigating a woman's claim that she was attacked Tuesday by the driver of a ride-hailing service.
The incident was reported just before 4 a.m. by a woman at South Meadowbrook Street in Bay Terraces.
According to police, the woman said the driver touched her inappropriately. She went to a gas station to call for help.
At this point, the sex crimes unit has taken over the case--which is now considered to be sexual battery.
No other information was immediately available.
