SoCal Man Arrested Outside Paris Hilton's Door

A man identified by authorities as a Riverside County resident was arrested outside Paris Hilton's home Tuesday after breaking through a security checkpoint on a bicycle and banging on the celebrity's front door, according to a published report.

James Brian Rainfield, 36, of Wildomar rode a bicycle through the security checkpoint of the gated community where Hilton lives and ignored guards' commands for him to stop, a Los Angeles police spokesperson told our media partners the North County Times.

The man proceeded to Hilton's home and went to the front door, Borihanh said. As he was striking it, security guards attempted to make a citizens' arrest and the suspect resisted, resulting in a scuffle that led to the battery count against Rainford, the spokesman said.
