A motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run collision with a truck early Friday in the East County, California Highway Patrol officials said.
According to the CHP, the crash happened just after 3:10 a.m. on westbound Interstate 8 west of Jackson Drive. Investigators said an unknown man driving a black pick-up truck crashed into a motorcyclist.
The driver of the truck fled the scene. CHP officials said the motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries.
