A man is in serious condition after he was shot in the head by a man he knew in La Mesa, the La Mesa Police Department confirmed.
Officers found the victim lying in the street. The suspect, who lives in a nearby home, was detained without incident.
The shooting happened Sunday afternoon around 4:47 p.m. in the 4400 block of Glen St.
The motive and the relationship between the suspect and victim are unclear.
The suspect is not in custody and is being questioned by La Mesa Police detectives.
The investigation is ongoing.
