A masked man robbed the Mission Federal Credit Union in Hillcrest Thursday at gunpoint, walking away with an indeterminate amount of cash, San Diego police said.
The thief approached an open teller window at the bank, produced a handgun and demanded cash, police said. The teller handed over some money before the man took the stash and fled the scene.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
Police said the man was described as wearing the mask, a gray beanie cap, a gray hoodie and dark sunglasses. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact San Diego police or the Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
