A police convoy was attacked by armed men on a main street in Tijuana, according to a published report.
At least one person was found dead near where the shooting took place, though it is unclear whether he was killed in a separate incident. At least three police officers were known to have been seriously wounded in the convoy attack, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
Four bodies were found Friday in Tijuana, including three people who had been shot to death. A fourth person's severed head was also found, according to the paper.
