Police are searching for the Scrooges who vandalized some Christmas displays in an East County neighborhood.
Paul David, whose Lakeside home's decorations were dismantled overnight, said on Friday that about 75 percent of his neighbors' displays had been vandalized. He said a resident who lives a short distance away told him that something similar occurred weekend last weekend in his neighborhood.
The Park Paseo housing development off Palm Row has a tradition of pulling out all the stop for the holidays.
