Graffiti Suspect Booked on 231 Counts

Martinez allegedly caused more than $100K in damages

A Vista man was arrested Thursday and booked for allegedly committing 231 counts of felony vandalism inside the northern San Diego County town.

Christopher Martinez, 19, had several graffiti-related items seized from his Vista residence at about 8 a.m. He was transported to the Sheriff's Vista Station and later booked at the Sheriff's Vista Detention Center.

Vista deputies suspect Martinez has caused approximately $100,423 in city damages.

Their station's Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving Unit conducted the probation compliance check.
