San Diego firefighters rushed to a Rancho Penasquitos home Monday morning after the report of a child falling from a window.
The child, described by emergency personnel as a 5-year-old, fell from a second story window at the home on Oviedo Street.
San Diego police said the victim was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital. Officials said the child ended up being okay, but did not release the gender.
The fall was reported to 911 at 6:35 a.m. and was later ruled accidental.
