A brush fire off Interstate 5 near Del Mar caused heavy traffic in the area, according to San Diego Fire-Rescue officials.
The fire broke out around 1:28 p.m. Monday near the Del Mar Heights exit on Interstate 5.
Crews moped up the fire, but traffic was slowed in the area, backing up at least two exits.
No homes are threatened, and crews have a line around the fire.
No other information was immediately available.
