An Oceanside man died and two Vista men were injured in a shooting Saturday night.
Oceanside police officers responded to several 911 calls about gunshots being fired on Jacqueline Lane around 8 p.m. The neighborhood is located about a half of a mile north of Tri-City Medical Center and State Route 78
Three victims were all taken to the hospital by family members.
Jose Jimenez, 29, died from his injuries, Oceanside police said Monday.
A 45-year-old Vista man who sustained multiple gunshot wounds was in critical condition and a 26-year-old Vista man who was shot once was in serious condition.
The Oceanside Police Crimes of Violence Unit responded to the scene and are currently investigating this incident.
