Sounds Like San Diego: March 31

We might not get snow in winter, but we sure got rain, and now we have a Super Rainbow to enjoy

You'd think that we'd all been locked up all winter if you took a look around the city at how many people were out and about enjoying the weekend. No, we don't get snow, but we are definitely a spring break destination, so parks and beaches and beer bars and everything are packed. If you want to hit one of the first street fairs of the season, head to Rolando for their free neighborhood fair. Headlined by San Diego Music Award winner Veronica May with a stacked lineup of local talent, along with community dance and performance stages, food and craft vendors, this event will give an accurate gauge of all the goodness to come in the upcoming weeks. By late afternoon or evening, catch Canadian act Grandson, who have sold out much of this tour and will likely do the same here. Belly Up has a great show with Black Moth Super Rainbow, there's a rare Sunday Hip-Hop Battle Bot at Casbah and Mexican punk/ska act Sekta Core get the crowd moving at Soda Bar. If you're up for a big show, crooner Michael Buble performs at Pechanga Arena.
