Everyday it is my job to be a cheerleader for live music in San Diego. I'm like anyone else who have to make the effort of postponing pajamas for a night out. But, this time it's a no-brainer with Tuesday night's show featuring Conor Oberst. I'm a huge fan of his solo material, and an even bigger fan the Bright Eyes albums. I've seen Oberst in action at the Casbah and Soma so I know this is going to be a pretty awesome show at the Belly Up. He'll likely play material spanning his career with the Felice Brothers as his backing band. Together, they played an incredible secret show a couple years back at the Casbah. Of course, if you don't have tickets, fret not and hang with the Silent Comedy at Monkey Paw, or catch the Sinclairs at Soda Bar. Last but not least, see the incredible Pet Shop Boys at Symphony Hall (though I'm guessing it will be sold-out).
