OK, so now you know that Stephanie Brown is a local woman whose music has evolved with various band iterations to the haunting, psychedelic indie-rock that she and the Surrealistics are making today. She also struck up a friendship with Gregg Allman and was invited to the famed Muscle Shoals studio to record on his final record. Joined by some of San Diego's finest at the Casbah this evening, it'll one of those all-local nights where you'll think all of the bands should be hitting the road on tour. Meanwhile, Soda Bar hosts Tennis System, Joe Bonamassa plays the first of two nights at Humphreys and San Diego Symphony's Bayside Series hosts a salute to Latin jazz.
