Sounds Like San Diego: Feb. 13

The list of great shows on Saturday is long and spans many genres, so it's difficult to even recommend just one or two, but there are definitely a few standouts. For example, in the fall, James Supercave opened for Gardens and Villa, then they recently supported the Bright Light Social Hour. With a new album dropping on Friday, James Supercave are making the rounds at Southern California record shops. Locally, they are playing a free all-ages set at M-Theory Records. It's also not often that Soda Bar does two shows in a night, but they've got an early show with Peter Bradley Adams that is certainly worth your while. To close out the night, head to the Casbah for the 20th Anniversary of Drag the River. Joined by John Meeks and Ypsitucky, I'd get there early -- although the Casbah has never run out of beer, this just might be the first time. (Just kidding. You're in no danger of the bar actually running out of beer.)
