There are so many awesome things happening today that your head just might explode. By day, the Latin American Art Fest promises live musical acts, as does Padres FanFest. Or, catch local music celebs spinning records at Vinyl Junkies Record Swap. By night, there are some super great shows, like the Verve's Richard Ashcroft at Spreckel's or Squirrel Nut Zippers at Music Box. Agent Orange bring the ruckus to Soda Bar while Nothington bring Bay Area punk to the Hideout after releasing their first record in five years. My vote, however, is for the ACLU fundraiser at Allegory Tattoo (just a couple of doors east of Soda Bar) where several local artists will be playing for awareness and your donations to the incredibly important work of the ACLU. Whatever you choose, enjoy a great night of San Diego living.
