Two local schools get the nod in the yearly U.S. News and World Reports rankings.
The Preuss School of UCSD, which regularly listed among the top schools in the nation, was ranked eighth in the nation, a gain of two spots since last year. Also making the Top 100 was La Jolla High, which squeaked in at 99th.
The School Evaluation Services calculated the rankings.
