PROJECT: HELP FEED SAN DIEGO AT THE SAN DIEGO FOOD BANK
LOCATION: SAN DIEGO FOOD BANK
DESCRIPTION: You can help hungry San Diego families by volunteering at the San Diego Food Bank.
If you are an individual, you can join a fun group project. If you are looking to sign up a large group, we can work with you to get everything set up.
The average volunteer visit is three hours, and in that time you will help hundreds of families in need by processing and packaging food for distribution.
PROJECT: QUASH: Quest to Unravel Alzheimer’s Scavenger Hunt
DESCRIPTION: Volunteers will assist with registration, greet, assist with special challenges and activities at special QUASH spots in the city and much more. The Alzheimer's Association provides essential services in our communities that improve the lives of individuals coping with Alzheimer's disease as we research to find a cure.
LOCATION: MISSION BAY PARK
DESCRIPTION: This race benefits Rady Children's Hospital. Volunteer duties range from working registration tables, handing out t-shirts, goody bags and water, and finish line timing. This event will bring awareness and raise money for the benefiting charity, Rady Children's Hospital.
PROJECT: The 57th Annual Greater San Diego Science & Engineering Fair
LOCATION: BALBOA PARK ACTIVITY CENTER
DESCRIPTION: The Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair is a non-profit 501(c)(3) which operates SOLELY on donations and is run completely by volunteers. We need your assistance in ensuring that this Fair is not the last! Please support the students of San Diego.
