Sounds Like San Diego: Jan. 27

No Knife are reuniting for Casbah's 30-year anniversary month, and the show is going to be amazing

I had been going to the Ken Club for months, maybe even years. I had moved into the Kensington area after college, luckily grabbing a sweet apartment on Adams Avenue where I ended up living for 13 years. I loved the vibe of the Ken Club, and on Wednesdays, it became a ritual to go hang out early and watch "90210" with the bartender. And then one week he was gone. And one week turned into two or three, and I finally asked what happened to Mitch and they told me he was on tour. "On tour? He's in a band?" All of those Wednesdays with Mitch Wilson, and I had no idea he was in No Knife. I guess at that point, I only knew their music from Loudspeaker but had never seen them live. Or if I had, I never made the connection. Anyway, now we're in 2019 -- many, many years later, and I am super excited that No Knife are reuniting for the Casbah 30-year anniversary month. The show is definitely going to be an amazing one, with a killer lineup top to bottom. If you missed your chance for tickets, Bananarama bring the eighties to the Observatory, the Petty Saints rock Soda Bar and Podunk Nowhere set the chill vibe at Sycamore Den.
