    San Diego, we love you. You know that. But y’all gotta try expanding your musical horizons, mmmkay?

    Twice a month, Spotify releases an individual playlist for nearly 1,000 cities across the world, populated by songs that are “distinctively enjoyed” in each one. According to the music-streaming behemoth, the playlists are generated by “music that people in each city listen to quite a bit, which people in other cities also do not listen to very much.” So, while their aggregated playlists aren’t the only songs being listened to in each city, they’re a good indication of what people in different cities listen to the most.

    And, boy, oh boy, y’all love your reggae, San Diego, dontcha? We definitely appreciate good reggae rock too, but when it comes to soakin’ up sticky icky positive-vibe jams, you guys are MVPs.
