Sounds Like San Diego: September 3

Awesome Fest is in full swing, but you're gonna have to find something else to do if you didn't buy a wristband for the weekend, so we suggest checking out Fierce Creatures over at Tin Can. The show will also celebrate the amazing new EP, Duets, by John Meeks and Joanie Mendenhall. The Che Underground has their second night at the Casbah, SoundDiego LIVE veterans River City take over Bar Pink, and the Styletones drop in to the Griffin. I've got family in town, so we'll probably check out Jesse LaMonaca at the Lincoln Room or Urban Bar while enjoying sweet beverages with tasty food. Whatever you choose, the three-day weekend should afford you plenty of time to party while sleeping in on Sunday to do it all over again.
