It is so sad to see a long holiday weekend (or holiday week for the lucky amongst us) come to an end and have to prepare for the Monday grind, but I know some of you out there are doubly lucky and still have some time off until after the New Year. Either way, the music scene doesn't care about Monday mornings and tonight you can still get down all over town. At the Che Cafe, a killer lineup awaits with heavy hitters like Weatherbox, Mr. Tube & the Flying Objects, and Big Bad Buffalo all set to make for an amazing night. If you're heading back from the mountains, drop in at Ramona Mainstage for '90s hitmaker Sophie B. Hawkins, or get yourself to the Belly Up for the annual return of Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven. Soda Bar is going to be a full-on dance party with Gone Baby Gone, or hang out with Tim Mudd for his monthly session at Sycamore Den. There are plenty of fun choices to stave off the Monday blues just a little bit longer.
