Sounds Like San Diego: April 4

There are a lot of great shows happening in San Diego this Friday night, so hopefully the week left you some energy to get out and explore. Or, if the Boulevard has any say, you will "Rock," "Shop," "Dine" and "Cruise" to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of the unveiling of the Boulevard sign. To celebrate, the business association has created banners with local luminaries -- including Tim Pyles of FM 94/9 and SoundDiego -- and business owners, and the signs have been installed along El Cajon Boulevard. Of course, there's a party and music, and it's open to the public at the Lafayette Hotel. After a cocktail or two among friends, catch another show or two. Perhaps the album release show of Big Bad Buffalo suits your fancy or the punk of the Adolescents at the Casbah, or maybe the ska punk of Mustard Plug at Soda Bar. There are lots of others to choose from, too, so take a gander down the list and make this a rockin' Friday night.
