David J embarks on a tour for his new crowd-funded album tonight

Tonight is full of incredible music options. O.A.R. plays the first of two sold-out nights at the Belly Up and  Diiv has about 15 tickets left at press time and perform at the Casbah for Anti-Monday League. If you're not holding tickets to either of those, head to Soda Bar to catch the legend, David J -- of Bauhaus and Love and Rockets fame -- with his new project. He's released a completely crowdfunded album, An Eclipse of Ships, and has embarked on a tour to support the album. He lives locally, so we've seen him at plenty of shows, and he is a DJ at events around town with some frequency, but it should be exciting to everyone to catch new music from a man of such a talent and influence.
