Greg Bledsoe is the weekday evening meteorologist for NBC 7. A member of the NBC family for more than two decades, Bledsoe began his career at NBC 7 in 2001 as a writer. Over the years, he has taken on a variety of roles across the newsroom, including producer, photographer, field reporter, morning anchor, and now meteorologist.
Beyond forecasting San Diego’s weather, Bledsoe has a deep passion for storytelling. He is a 24-time Emmy Award winner and was twice named National Solo Video Journalist of the Year by the National Press Photographers Association.
When he’s not tracking the forecast, Bledsoe enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. In 2021, the Bledsoe family embarked on a yearlong road trip across 48 U.S. states, sharing stories along the way for NBC’s LX Network. After the unforgettable journey, they were thrilled to return home to San Diego and rejoin the NBC 7 team.
