Westbound SR-78 Connector to NB I-5 Closed Sunday

Those looking to travel along the westbound 78 connector to Interstate 5 on Sunday will be out of luck as officials are closing the area down.
“The closure is necessary so that crews can safely perform their work at a time with the least impact to traffic,” said Cathryne Bruce-Johnson, Public Information Officer for San Diego and Imperial Counties.
Motorists will be detoured to Las Flores Drive east, to the northbound 1-5, said Bruce-Johnson.
