A stroller in the Webster neighborhood was struck by a car Thursday afternoon.

The collision occurred just before 2 p.m. as a pedestrian was wheeling the stroller with a child inside.

The van hit the stroller on the corner of Lyon St. and Euclid Ave., just north of the SR-94 freeway, San Diego Police said.

The car was driving at about 5 MPH. The child in the stroller sustained minor injuries, and was transported to Children's Hospital.

The driver stayed on scene and complied with officers for a police report.

Witnesses say the pedestrian was not hit.
