Shots Fired on I-15 Near Escondido

Highway patrol authorities reported shots fired on the northbound I-15 freeway near Escondido Sunday evening.
At about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, a witness saw an individual taking shots outside a passenger window with a handgun, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the suspect was driving a dark orange car along the northbound I-15, just north of Center City Parkway when the shooting occurred.
There were no reports of injuries.
