The Sheriff's Encinitas Station said the suspected burglar broke into Chin's Restaurant at 625 Encinitas Blvd. at about 5 a.m. on the morning of June 15.

He pulled a security and fire alarm system from the wall and then used a pry bar to enter the restaurant through the electrical room outside, detectives said.
