Jockey Injured on Racetrack
Possible wrist injury for Del Mar rider

A jockey racing in the Del Mar horse races fell from his horse Wednesday on the first turn.
The unnamed jockey was competing in the eighth race at about 4 p.m. when he fell.
Del Mar Medics and Fire Department officials responded to the scene and transported the jockey to Scripps La Jolla hospital. Medics treated him for a possible right wrist injury.
