Mariah Carey didn't quite make it to the delivery room over the weekend following contractions on Saturday night, but on Monday morning, she showed her fans that she is indeed close to being ready to pop.
The singing superstar posted a photo on her Twitter page showing off her blooming belly. Mariah's belly was painted with her signature symbol – a butterfly – with one wing painted blue for the boy she is carrying, and the other wing pink for her daughter-to-be.
Above the butterfly it said "dem babies," a phrase Mimi has been using on Twitter to reference her twins with husband Nick Cannon.
"My attempt @ festiveness on 327! For ATLITL thank u + I♥U!" Mariah Tweeted with the accompanying photo. "Comin soon #dembabies! LYMA+thanx 4 making me happy:)"
Sunday was also Mariah's birthday. The singer turned 41.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Nick took to Twitter last week to express his pre-baby jitters, writing, "I am probably going to faint in the delivery room! I need to man up!"
"Or maybe I should say WOMAN UP since they are the ones that have to be the strongest in the whole ordeal! I am in awe of my wife!" he added.
Mariah and Nick first announced their pregnancy to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush back in October.
