I remember the first time I met Writer. At the time they were a three-piece band, and they'd finished a set at the Zombie Lounge. There were these dogs hanging around outside the bar, and somehow they wandered into the bar, but when the music started, the dogs freaked out and one of them ended up biting Andy on his thigh. He was outside telling us what happened and dropped his pants to show us exactly where he'd been bitten. We've been friends ever since. I've been warning you that the Ralph brothers are packing up heading east to become Brooklynites, and tonight is their final show as San Diegans. Head on out to the Tower Bar to send them off on a high note.
