The only unfortunate thing about this Wednesday's lineup of shows is that when you wake up the next day, it will only be Thursday. Yes, some lineups are probably better experienced on weekends, but maybe it won't be so bad since a lot of the late night music junkies don't necessarily work nine to five jobs anyway. The Stone Foxes return to the Casbah and, if you think you can judge success and outcomes by social media chatter, this show will be explosive and well worth your time. Words like "swampy," "dirty" and "rootsy" come to mind when people talk about the Foxes, but I'd also like to add "generous" as they have asked attendees to bring healthy non-perishable foods for donations to benefit the San Diego Rescue Mission and SuperFood Drive. Other shows worth mentioning are Twenty One Pilots performing at the Irenic (with awesome support from locals Big Bad Buffalo) and Maserati over at Soda Bar. Maybe we should be realistic and just say that your weekend really starts now.
