If the name Alex Church doesn't ring a bell, perhaps his band, Sea Wolf does. They're one of the most consistent in indie-rock, putting out great records and returning to our fair city many times, and have slowly built a loyal following. Sea Wolf's third and latest record, gravity is it, finds him in a reflective mode. Church wrote and reworked most of the songs from his home studio until they were ready to be recorded with the band. Sea Wolf is one of my favorite bands out there, so if you haven't had the pleasure of hearing them live, the Belly Up is your spot for Thursday night.
