Pierce the Veil head up the MTV Fandom Awards at Petco, while San Diego erupts with live music

    NEWSLETTERS

Pierce the Veil headline the MTV Fandom Awards at Petco Park on Thursday, July 21.

It was just a couple of weeks ago that San Diego's born-and-bred Pierce the Veil played a sold-out show at the Observatory. If you missed them, tonight might be your chance to catch them perform as they are one of the performers at the MTV Fandom Fest and Fandom Awards. The event is free to Comic-Con badgeholders at Petco Park on a first-come, first-served basis. If you don't have a badge, there are plenty of other Con and non-Con events to make your Thursday feel like a Friday. At the Irenic in North Park, Autolux performs after a bit of a hiatus, while Culture Shock rocks (and skanks) at the Casbah. Meanwhile, if you prefer your ska in Spanish, head to the Observatory for Panteon Rococo or try your luck at tickets for Blink 182 at Viejas Arena. Obviously there are tons of fun things to get caught up in tonight, so don't sleep, San Diego.
