Get out for some fun in the sun at Hillcrest's annual CityFest where there's food, vendors, and live music hosted by Laura Jane, whose band, the Tighten-Ups, will also kick-off the festivities. Once the live bands finish playing in the afternoon, everyone will be encouraged to dance in the streets with DJs spinning until 11 p.m. But, if you're looking for strictly nighttime live music, the Casbah has you covered with White Fence; the Void hosts Masked Intruder and Jonwayne performs at Soda Bar -- all winning bets before the impending weight of Monday sinks in.
