Spring has officially sprung! Feel any different? Me neither, but if this weekend is any indication of things to come over the next few months, we are in for some serious fun!

If what’s in store for you Thursday at Quality Social doesn’t get you moving, you’d better check your pulse. It’s the San Diego debut of PRGRM, plus a live set from Keith Sweaty of Jamuel Saxon and a DJ set by Nightbrawl. There’s no cover all night and you can get more info here. Further north in the Solana Beach area, Conspirator, the duo comprised of Disco Biscuits staples Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner, hits the Belly Up for a night of dubstep and bass music. Sublmnl Sound System (Austin Speed + Crmnl), Philly Be and Michael Mannino (taking DJ Leif’s place) will also be part of the evening. Get more info via this link.

On Friday, Glitch Slap is happening at the Kava Lounge with Jupit3r, Chris B, Richard Sweat, Squama and EyeQ. Check out details here. At the Hard Rock downtown Skylar Grey and Adam12 will be shaking things up at 207 and Sander Kleinenberg hits Voyeur.

Get the party started early on Saturday with DJ Claire for happy hour at the Whistle Stop starting at 5 p.m. It's part of the South Park Walkabout and the MIHO Gastrotruck will be serving up tasty eats right outside the bar. Then Booty Basement takes over and it gets super crowded so if you’re just coming for this, get there early. At the Kava Lounge it’s Seria Star’s One-Year Anniversary featuring a live performance from Danyavaad and Tribal Fusion Belly Dance Performers. Plus, DJs Michael Insane and Jonny Quest. Get more info via this link.

These are just a few things that caught my eye. Other Thursday through Saturday events are listed on my blog. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you on the dance floor!

Robin Roth is a familiar voice in the San Diego scene.  She is on the air weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on 91X, plus she promotes and spins all over town. For more info about upcoming gigs, check out her event blog. Follow Robin on Twitter @robin_roth or submit your DJ listings here.
