We've picked two local artists for this month's Garage to Glory contest, with the winner going on to perform with Junior theDISCOpunk and Schitzophonics at SoundDiego LIVE at the Typhoon Saloon on May 31.
Pool Party are duking it out with Gone Baby Gone in our online poll, with the winner likely featured in SoundDiego LIVE coverage on the TV version of SoundDiego, in multiple NBC 7 San Diego newscasts, in online video and photo coverage on both SoundDiego and NBCSanDiego and mentioned on all our social media platforms. Twenty-four hours after SoundDiego LIVE on May 31, thousands of music fans will know the winning act's name and music.

Gone Baby Gone hark back to the days when big voices and big sounds made a big impact. The band is fronted by the charismatic and always-in-charge Dizzy Miss Vizzy, whose booming vocals snuggle up to a heaping dose of clean-cut rock & roll blues that thrill and entertain as much as a hot-rod drag race on the wrong side of town. Be prepared to dance, snarl, and yawp to San Diego's newest rock & roll sensation.
This being a PB beach show with a DJ headliner, however, Gone Baby Gone face some stiff competition in the form of Pool Party's EDM hip-hop. The group is fronted by MC/synth master Drew Scott, who sure-handedly leads his bandmates on a trip though electric breakbeat land. Beachgoers with a taste for dubstep or drum 'n' bass will find their votes already cast for the upcoming young three-piece.
