The San Diego Zoo is kicking off its summer extended hours program, the Nighttime Zoo.
Seriously -- where else can you watch a double yellow-headed Amazon parrot sing Old MacDonald Had a Farm? Symphony in flight is a new-featured show that blends bird flights, music and lights.
You can also check out the elephants in their new digs. The entire 7.5-acre habitat exhibit includes rolling hills, mechanical trees for activities, shade, showers or heat.
Nighttime Zoo is open 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and runs through Labor Day, September 17.
