San Diego Science Festival 2009

    The First Annual 2009 San Diego Science Festival is the first of its kind on the West Coast. Coming on March 1 through April 4, 2009, the Festival will provide 500+ free and entertaining science outreach activities to Greater San Diego County.

    Expo Day on April 4 in Balboa Park, the grand finale, will be a fun-filled day of hands-on experiments, demonstrations, comedians, science art exhibits, and theatrical & musical performances.

    Festival programs include: Operation Balboa The Largest Game of Operation, Science Career Fair, Engineering at the Nanoscale, Science of Wine, Physics of Sailing, Evolution of Music, Science of Chocolate, Linguistics of Science, Mathematics of Juggling, Science of Saving Species, Chemistry of Love, Future of Surgery, Science of Comedy, Science of Earthquakes, and much more! 

    The primary goal of the San Diego Science Festival is to inspire kids in 400+ primary and secondary schools. They will be exposed to the various industries of science and discover possible science-related career paths.
