Team USA's Jamie Anderson looks to make history in tomorrow's women's slopestyle final after qualifying fifth and finishing the night with a first-run score of 74.35.

The two-time defending gold medalist will look to add a third gold to her resume.

Since the women's slopestyle snowboarding event debuted at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Anderson has been the only athlete to win gold in it, and now the the 31-year-old is aiming for a three-peat.

Anderson will have stiff competition from Zoi Sadowski-Synnott of New Zealand, who finished first in qualifications with a score of 86.75.

Americans Julia Marino and Hailey Langland placed a respective sixth and ninth to also qualify for the final.
