Thailand now holds the world record for the largest number of Christmas elves gathered in one place, NBC News reported. Over 1,700 people donned red, green and white hats in Bangkok to break the previous record of 1,110, which was claimed by Britain in 2013. Fourteen children were disqualified at Thailand's event for not putting on their elf ears.
