Woods Loses Masters to Schwartzel

Despite a final round surge, Tiger Woods came up short in the Masters Tournament Sunday afternoon, losing to South African Charl Schwartzel. The 26-year-old finished the final round with four straight birdies, making a 20-foot shot at the final hole to wrap up a 6-under 66. He finished 14-under, at 274. Woods shot a 67 and twice held a share of the final-round lead but then missed several key putts, ESPN reported. This is the first time Schwartzel has won the Masters. Woods wore the fabled green jacket in 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2005, before personal problems in 2009 knocked his career off track.
