Reagan Shooter No Longer a Danger: Doctors

After almost three decades in a mental hospital, the man who came within inches of killing President Ronald Reagan is moving closer to being released, CNN reported. A forensic psychologist in Washington said John W. Hinckley Jr. "has recovered to the point that he poses no imminent risk of danger to himself or others." Hinckley, now 55, is currently allowed to visit his elderly mother in Williamsburg, Va. 12 times a year for 10 days at a time. March 30 marks 30 years since Hinckley nearly assassinated Reagan and injured four others.
