Palin Visits Israel, Mulls Presidential Run

Sarah Palin made her first visit to Israel Monday to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and tour holy sites. It was the latest stop on an international tour that took Palin to India on Saturday, where she spoke to an audience in New Delhi. During a question-and-answer session, an Indian magazine editor asked if she plans to run for the presidency for 2012. “I don't think there needs to be a rush to get out there as a declared candidate. It's a life-changing decision," Palin said, according to the Guardian. CNN writes that this could be a move to boost her presidential standing, as various other GOP candidates are heightening their foreign visits, especially to Israel and the Middle East.
